Graduate student

Sierra completed her undergraduate degree in Microbiology at the University of Victoria. Her previous experience in research focused on genome editing applications for lysosomal storage diseases. She joined the Trang lab as a volunteer in October 2020 and is currently a graduate student. Her research will investigate the impact of opioids on oligodendrocytes, as well as withdrawal. Outside of the lab, Sierra enjoys being active, trying new recipes and spending time with loved ones.
